About Project

For this project, we designed the Coastal Express logo to feel fresh, friendly, and true to its coastal vibe. Since they mainly focus on seafood, we wanted the logo to instantly remind people of the sea and the sun. That’s why we chose blue and orange as the primary colors. Blue stands for the ocean, and orange brings in the warmth of the sun. They look great together and really capture that beachside feeling.

The logo is a wordmark with ‘Coastal’ on top and ‘Express’ below, set in a thick, wavy font that hints at ocean waves. To add a fun touch, we hid a fish in the negative space between the E and X, a little detail that ties it all back to seafood. It’s simple, playful, and easy to remember, just like the experience you get at Coastal Express.
